For our client in Zierikzee, we are looking for a car mechanic. As a car mechanic, you work daily on repairs and maintenance of various car brands. One day you may be performing maintenance on cars, while the next day you are replacing a clutch or timing belt. This keeps your work varied and challenging: no two days are the same.
As a car mechanic, you will not only work on passenger cars, but also on commercial vehicles. This means even more variety in your work and plenty of opportunities to further develop your skills.
- With your technical experience working on vehicles, you can quickly get started in the workshop after the onboarding period;
- A technical diploma is useful, but not required if you have strong practical skills. For this job, experience is more important than qualifications;
- After an induction period, you are able to work independently in the workshop and handle repairs and maintenance yourself;
- You have a category B driving licence;
- If you also have your APK inspector certification, that is a plus.
- A salary between €2500 and €3500 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- The opportunity to further develop yourself, for example by obtaining your APK certification;

- A full-time position with working hours from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in working hours. Full-time is preferred, but if you prefer to work 32 hours or a few hours on Saturday, that is also possible.
